Snow is the only album on HWYF that is definitely about drugs. It's not even subtle. It's a later track, perhaps from 2015, and somewhere I have a studio recording of it but maybe I don't. Either way, this is it now.
More than anything else, I can hear The Libertines reference on this one. It's in the lyrics - "all the boys in the band want some nosebag" and also in the staccato guitar part that's over the line.
I also tried to pronounce "death row" in a similar way to Joe Strummer on The Guns Of Brixton.
