This song was written in approximately 2007. I dated someone who was much cooler than me and worked in the Brick Lane area or we went on a few dates around there. She was a year older than me which made her mysterious and powerful (to me then) and this is described at length in the lyrics.
There's also a reference to Hadouken in the backing vocals.
